SMEC’s 70 Years of Impact campaign wins second award

SMEC has been selected as a Winner for Brand Management in the Australian Business Awards (ABA) 2020 for our 70 Years of Impact campaign, a strategic brand communications initiative targeting both internal and external audiences that ran from April to November 2019. This is the second award the campaign has earned, having previously won an IABC Gold Quill Award of Excellence in April 2020.

“70 Years of Impact was developed to celebrate SMEC’s 70th anniversary, strengthen client relationships and promote our global brand, culture and capabilities,” said Ms Katie O’Malley, Director Group Marketing and Communications. “We utilised insights and competitor analysis to develop a multi-channel, integrated campaign that featured a new blog, documentary video, client communications, media and an international event series. The strategy, creative and content, starring a number of our talented and skilled employees, were developed and distributed by our in-house marketing team. Winning another award is wonderful recognition of not only our team’s efforts but also the strategic thinking, resourcefulness and resilience embedded within our organisation. “
