Surbana Jurong signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co (SSTEC) and China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Administrative Committee (ECAC) at the 8th Singapore-Tianjin Economic and Trade Council (STETC) Meeting held in Tianjin on 27 September 2018.
Co-chaired by Singapore’s Minister for National Development and Second Minister for Finance, Lawrence Wong, and Tianjin Mayor Zhang Guoqing, the STETC is aimed at facilitating interactions and driving cooperation between the business communities of Singapore and Tianjin. The MOU with Surbana Jurong outlined plans to establish an entity in the Eco-City to provide investment management services. The entity will be sited in the Eco-Business Park, a 26.6ha integrated mixed-use business park in the Eco-City’s Start-Up Area wholly developed and managed by SSTEC.
