Surbana Jurong Group ranks 14th among top global architecture firms
Singapore, 24 January 2024 – Surbana Jurong Group has been ranked 14th in the 2024 World Architecture 100 (WA100) rankings of the globe’s leading architecture and design firms.
According to the WA100 2024 survey, the Group employs the highest number of architects in Southeast Asia and is the only Singapore-headquartered firm listed in the ranking for two years running. Surbana Jurong Group currently employs about 1,000 architecture and design professionals worldwide, including over 680 architects. Published by Building Design, a leading source key issues of news and insights for the built environment industry, WA100 is an annual ranking that assesses the world’s largest architecture practices based on the count of fee-earning or registered architects employed.
As a global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm, Surbana Jurong Group is already recognised as one of the world’s top multidisciplinary consultancies. The Group was ranked 23rd in Engineering News-Record’s Top 225 International Design Firms in 2023.

The WA100 2024 ranking adds to the suite of accolades that the Group has recently received. Surbana Jurong received two Design Awards for housing projects in Singapore, SkyOasis @ Dawson and SkyResidence @ Dawson, at Singapore’s HDB Design Awards 2023; and five awards for the HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir Clubhouse – BCA Green Mark Platinum Award, an honorable mention at the Architecture MasterPrize 2023, First Award at Rethinking The Future 2023, Gold at International Architecture & Design Awards 2023 and Gold at London Design Awards 2023.
SAA and B+H also received several design awards in 2023. SAA’s recently completed Woodlands Health Campus received a Platinum Award at Singapore’s Ministry of Health Holdings’ inaugural Design Excellence Awards. SAA also received the Architecture MasterPrize Award in the Healthcare/Wellness category for the Bo’ao Lecheng International Healthcare Incubator Hub and Silver in the Comprehensive Commercial Project category at the China Real Estate & Design Award (CREDAWARD) 2023 for Northpoint City, to name a few. B+H was also recognised for design excellence with international accolades such as attaining Gold in the Urban Design & Architecture Design Award 2023 for 402 Dunsmuir and Irving Oil Home Office, and Silver in the Architectural Design – Mix Use category in the MUSE Design Awards 2023 for Guoco Changfeng City.
