Surbana Jurong rises to 24th among largest global design firms
Surbana Jurong Group has been ranked 24th in the 2021 Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 225 International Design Firms, moving up two ranks from 26th in the 2020 ranking.
Among Asia-headquartered firms, Surbana Jurong Group ranks second, and is also the only Singapore-headquartered firm that has made it to the ENR Top 225 list, ranking among the top 30 for the last four consecutive years.
In the ranking by regions, Surbana Jurong Group ranks fifth in the Australia/Oceania region. In the ranking by markets, Surbana Jurong is ranked for the first time in the Building category at tenth place.
ENR, a trusted independent source of news and analysis for the global construction industry, provides industry performance benchmarks through annual surveys and rankings of international companies engaged in engineering, architecture and environmental services and other specialties. ENR Top 225 International Design Firms ranks the largest global design firms based on design-specific export revenue generated from projects outside each firm’s home country.
Surbana Jurong is particularly proud of our projects that demonstrate innovative, sustainable engineering, and architectural leadership. An example of such projects is the Shenzhen Children’s Hospital and Science and Education Building in China. Designed by B+H, the project was highlighted in the editorial accompanying the ranking. B+H’s design for the hospital creates a unique micro-landscape within and around the building, from ground floor to rooftop gardens.
