Ivy Koh

Ivy Koh is a Senior Principal Architect at Surbana Jurong Ptd Ltd, one of the largest Asia-based global urban and infrastructure consultancies.* With 14 years of architectural experience, she has been involved in a myriad of projects of various scales from private residential to mixed-use developments. She was also involved in urban planning as a master developer, looking into design control guidelines, public realm design of a precinct land which includes a beach and a marina.

Driven by a passion for design and the built environment, Ivy’s design sensibilities have largely been shaped by her years of practicing in Singapore for one of the largest architectural practices in Asia, as well as a developer’s in-house design manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In the pursuit of responsible and sustainable design, she is interested in how architecture can shape the way people use spaces, thereby influencing their behaviour and providing opportunities for chance encounters, discoveries and surprises.

Ivy has been a Registered Architect with the Board of Architects (Singapore) since 2008. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters in Architecture in 2005, and was selected for a Foreign Student Exchange Programme to the University of Sheffield in 2004.
