Tara Tang

Tara Tang is an Assistant Manager in the Energy & Industrial Division at Surbana Jurong Infrastructure (‘SJI’). She joined Surbana Jurong Infrastructure since 2019 and is currently in charge of market positioning of industrial parks. She has been involved in market studies for industrial projects, specializing in the development of smart industrial parks in China and Malaysia, and looks forward to deepening her experience in this area as digitalization continues to reshape industry and society.

She started her career in Enterprise Risk Management and is versed in reviewing business proposals, agreements and liaising with stakeholders to ensure plans are in line with strategic objectives and commensurate with the risks. To gain a front-line perspective, she then moved on to JTC’s Energy and Chemicals Division where she handled lease and estate management matters on Singapore mainland, as well as Jurong Island for her portfolio of global company accounts. She also gained much experience in working with companies to review their long-term requirements and led a feasibility study of an innovative industrial facility to address those needs.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Singapore Management University.
