The East Coast Reclamation has provided us with the valuable experience to successfully conceptualise, design, and manage the construction of large and complex reclamation projects.
Surbana Jurong planned and managed Singapore’s East Coast Reclamation, adding 1,525 ha of premium land that stretches from the Eastern part of Singapore’s coastline to the city area in the South.
The reclaimed land has been used for a variety of developments, including high-rise residential and commercial buildings, a beach, recreational facilities, and a highway.
East Coast Park, the Esplanade performing arts theatre, Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the Ritz Carlton Hotel are just a few of the many prominent landmarks that stand on the fruits of this 19-year-long project.
