Nongsa D-Town

Nongsa D-Town is a digital economy hub developed by a joint venture between Sinarmas Land and Citramas Group. It is envisioned as a digital economic area to digitally bridge tech companies and talents in Indonesia and Singapore. Developed since 2019 on a prime district in Batam, Nongsa D-Town is projected to host 8,000 digital talents on a land area of 62 hectares.

Surbana Jurong developed the concept master plan, urban design and architectural conceptualisation of the digital economic area which will be enlivened by offices, shopping centres, digital training centres, hotels, and co-working/ co-living spaces, making the hub an exciting live, work and play destination.

The design of Nongsa D-Town incorporates the harmony between the natural ecology of Batam and man-made digital infrastructure, weaving the ecological system into every fabric of the architecture and layer it with the digital infrastructure.
