Biopolis I

Biopolis, under the Singapore Technopreneur 21 initiative, aims to create the right environment to nurture a thriving technopreneur community.

Phase 1 (3.87 ha) comprised of 7 blocks of buildings which accommodate about 1,500 scientists from both the public and private research institutes. The development provides a synergistic environment which promotes collaboration and interaction among researchers. At the same time, the presence of an animal handling facility gives crucial support to both private and public research activities. Phase 1 was completed in 2003.
