The Daulat

Located in Singapore's Madras St at Little India, one of the restricted conservation areas in Singapore, The Daulat is a conversion of 3-storey shop houses to a Boutique Hotel with 16 rooms.

Following the conservation guidelines by URA, the building profile has to be kept. Targeted guests of the hotel would be businessmen as well as travellers who are fond of exploring local culture and history. Hence, our concept for The Daulat was to create a home-like ambience of space with the amalgamation of modern and local flavors. An example would be the terrace located on the second level which will accommodate an outdoor gym offering guests lush surrounding views.

All rooms are designed with reflective materials to create an illusion of space and a taste of local culture is also heightened through decorative elements carefully integrated within the living areas.
