Fresnillo Mine Planning & Scheduling Training Programme
Fresnillo Plc is a Mexican-based precious metals mining company and is the world’s largest producer of silver from ore and Mexico’s second-largest gold miner. The Fresnillo mine consists of six large underground mines located in Zacatecas, 660 km north of Mexico City. With major deposits of silver and gold, the mine has a throughput of 2,790,000 tonnes per year and employs over 2,000 personnel.
The maintenance function at the Fresnillo mine was facing challenges with planning and scheduling activities. We developed a training program to enhance the planning capabilities and support the effective engagement of the maintenance function.
The facilitation of the training focused on the technical aspects as well as behavioural components in the key areas.
On completion the client was extremely satisfied with the customised work management training program that aligned to the operational requirements and challenges.
