Surbana Jurong is honoured to participate in the annual SAF Day Rededication Ceremony 2020, in commemoration of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day. Rededication Ceremonies were first introduced in 1987 for NSmen to commemorate SAF Day at the workplace.

This is the second year that Surbana Jurong has joined the nation to reaffirm our loyalty and dedication to the SAF. Surbana Jurong is one of the five civilian organisations invited to participate in this year’s ceremony, conducted via a video conference organised by SAFTI Military Institute. In contrast to previous years, this year’s ceremony was facilitated using video conferencing to conduct the ceremony across 50 remote locations, in view of the ongoing Covid-19 situation,

Conducted at Surbana Jurong headquarters, the ceremony was graced by GCEO, Mr Wong Heang Fine, and led by Colonel Vincent Koh from the Ministry of Defence, Singapore.

Mr Wong Heang Fine, said, “Surbana Jurong is proud to stand alongside the nation in paying tribute to our SAF servicemen and women for their contributions in defending Singapore, keeping it safe and secure.’ Read more on SAF’s Facebook page.
