In recognition of SMEC South Africa’s quality engineering work and consultancy, PMR.Africa named it the winner of three Diamond Arrow awards at the PMR.Africa annual awards function held in Johannesburg in May 2018. These awards are based on the results of the National Survey of Consulting Engineering Firms, a peer research-based method of determining the best companies in each category.
SMEC South Africa was placed first overall in the following categories for companies with more than 400 employees:
• Civil Consulting Engineers
• Structural Consulting Engineers
• Combined Civil & Structural Consulting.
