Surbana Jurong Group CEO Wong Heang Fine was invited to speak at the plenary session of the inaugural Australia Singapore Infrastructure Investment Forum on 12 July 2018. Co-organised by Enterprise Singapore, Infrastructure Asia, Austrade and the Australian High Commission in Singapore, the forum is a platform for global infrastructure experts, business leaders and government officials to discuss opportunities and challenges in infrastructure development and investments.

Titled “Infrastructure Trends and Themes in Australia”, the plenary session highlighted the opportunities in greenfield markets and infrastructure financing in Australia. Mr Wong highlighted that Singapore and Australian infrastructure players should work together to capture infrastructure opportunities in the region. With Australia’s expertise in structuring and developing successful projects and Singapore’s technical capabilities and discipline to execute complex technical projects, both countries can be partners for projects in areas such as water, power and transport. He was joined on stage by senior executives from Lendlease, ANZ Bank, IFM Investors and Brookfield Asset Management. The session was moderated by KPMG.
