In late April, the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs, Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, visited the Dhoho Airport project site in Kediri in East Java. He was hosted by the Directors of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk (the client) and PT. Surya Dhoho Investama (a subsidiary of Gudang Garam Tbk).

This is the Gudang Garam Tbk’s first airport project in Indonesia, aimed at stimulating economic development in Kediri. Gudang Garam Tbk is one of Indonesia’s leading cigarette companies. The Surbana Jurong Global Aviation team and Surbana Jurong Indonesia are providing Project Management Consultancy services for this project.

Construction will be carried out in phases. Half of the earth works have been completed and the parts of the construction will start from September this year. The airport is targeted for completion in mid-2023.
