The Infrastructure team’s “Happiness Committee” manning an ice-cream stall at the charity carnival.
Surbana Jurong’s Infrastructure team recently participated in the Walk for Our Children 2018 fund-raiser carnival organised by the Singapore Children’s Society.
Held at Bishan – Ang Mo Kio Park, the safari-themed event kicked off with a 3km walkathon around the park in the morning, followed by a carnival with about 40 food and game stalls.
The Infrastructure Team’s self-coined “Happiness Committee” also sold ice-cream at the event, and the proceeds help to further the society’s mission to protect and nurture children and youth at risk. The Guest-of-Honour was Mr Heng Swee Keat, Singapore’s Minister for Finance.
